Do you think he had a poor season last year? He was great for the most part. Probably our second best player. He created 75 or so chances, but was let down, like usual, with stretches of very poor finishing from teammates. He created only ten less chances than Eriksen, despite playing in 11 less games and 1000 less minutes.

He's pretty much done his job superbly well the entire time he's been at Arsenal. He's not going to carry anyone on his back because he's not that type of player. His job is to create opportunities, something he's done at a world-class level each season he's been at Arsenal.
