We can agree to disagree. The CBs he has had to play withhave been run through the dirt on here ("Kabak should be sent back to Schalke the day the season ends", calling out that we used midfielders as CBs at times, etc), but somehow him having to cover for their lacking abities in LFC'S system is going to be held against him. Makes no sense to me.
Trent doesn't have toprotect against an inside drive against the CBs when VVD and Matip/Gomez are healthy. If he doesn't do that when these scrubs are in there at CB, it is a likely goal.
He is fricked either way he goes and is being held accountable to a no-win situation.

You are literally blaming his lack of defensive ability on not having a CB that is elite
The best RB and LB pocket people all the time
He doesn’t have that in his tool box
Him and AWB are specialist and both should be in the England team to be brought on situationally

It has nothing to do with ability in his case, it's our system. He pocketed plenty of great attackers over the last couple of seasons. He hasn't been asked to be on an island, nor should he be in our system.

Trent has the ability. He has exercised it. But when he has to defend for two positions rather than one, it is too much to ask of any RB/LB. To prove that, you merely have to look at the other side of the pitch in Andy Robertson. He has looked less effective this season too, but because he isn't an English international he doesn't get the same attention. The CB situation having its effects on Liverpool's system is to blame, not individual ability.

Barca look clueless in the attack. Pedri has some moments but overall looks meh. Dembele has been awful. They are constantly exposed by Vinicius.
