Trent is getting abused out there

So fun to watch going forward but his defending is bad

Our defense looks abysmal. Chasing shadows out there. All city have to do is boot a no look cross to the corner and they find it every time. Unbelievable.

I would absolutely obliterate my high school aged kids that I coach for the type of ball watching TAA is doing this half. Shocking for a professional fullback to be so unaware of the space

Jesus couldn't score on Copacabana beach but he scores against us

It’s always the best recipe for attacking a pressing team like Liverpool. Hit a diagonal ball to the weak side. But you generally expect the backside full back to stay tucked in and force the long ball to the outside of himself to allow the rest of the defense to shift. If you just give up the goal side, you’re fricking everything.

I wasn’t expecting this. I haven’t seen us utilize long balls like this in a good while.

At the end of the day a fullback’s job is to defend

No matter how much people try and convince you it’s not important in this new age football

His awareness in defensive space is bad and he stabs at the ball like a 9 year old
