Should be a yellow for simulation.

no one is denying he started to go down. doesn't change that it is a pen 100/100 times.

Please quote where I said it wasn’t a penalty.

You are genuinely a retard if you watch the replay and come to the conclusion that he didn’t start to go down before contact was made

Reminded me of the Lloris challenge on Sterling a few weeks ago.
It's a pretty grey area where it can go either way.

imo, when the keeper makes that much contact it typically only goes one way. pen.

So if im running down the field and decide to just fall on my own and hit someone else it should be a penalty?

Thats dumb. Fernandes was going to fall no matter what. Watford should break his legs.

Okay, this is a genuine question about the rules.

The keeper is allowed to make a play for the ball in the area. If the outfield player rounds the keeper like Fernandes did here, but dives, which Fernandes clearly does here and this is not debateable, how does anything that happens after the dive matter?

Why do we ignore a clear rules infraction in this situation?

We shouldnt, it should have been a yellow for simulation.

That play is the perfect example of why the sumulation rule exists.

I think they justify it because Foster touched him. I say touch because he didn't hit him or take him down.

That's just a guess. Sorry, I'm still drunk.

Indeed.
I think he’s played his way on the English squad for Euro.
