It just sucks, because I want nothing more than for him to be one of the best at the European level, but there are distinct areas of his game that aren’t showing any meaningful progression. He has brilliant moments occasionally, but nothing sustained.
And then you have the juxtaposition of Sancho coming on, and seemingly always finding himself in the right place at the right time.
None of this is to say that Pulisic sucks. He just finished playing in, and winning, a champions league match against Atletico Madrid, and he more than held his own. But I guess that’s sort of the point, we said all this 2 years ago.
On the bright side, this is the best Dortmund have looked in a while and I hope Pulisic will be a big factor chasing the bundesliga title.
