What? He was playing the ball with his head the whole way.

Mane was in the air first and his foot was up when the gk takes off.

Its not like the gk jumps up then Mane karate kicks him

I've always hated debating over "intent" because you can't truly judge someone's intent, even when it seems obvious. Making monumental calls that affect matches/title races based on what you think someone was intending is crazy to me.

do you really think Mane would have come in like that if he saw the gk beating him to the ball

then it would be an easy red but its a late challenge then there is intent.

I hear you, but I think this was obvious... however, I was specifically referring to the term weapon being used...

He doesn't need to jump. He makes contact with it at head level.

If Mane gets a nick of the ball first before getting the gk, then you can clearly saw his intent was playing the ball. But he didn't so people will shoot down the intent angle.

Mane ruined my fantasy team this week. His stupidity saw Salah, my captain, sacrificed at halftime.

No, but you can't just close your eyes, jump through the air, and say you didn't see the guy, either.

So unselfish from Aguero. If they learn to play together, it's over.

with that logic the gk should try playing the ball with his head bc a boot was there

that coming together was the worst possible scenario bc arguments can be clearly made for both sides

I'm not going to argue Mane was intending to put his foot in Ederson's face. He was watching the ball. But once you make contact with someone's face with your foot, your intent sort of goes out the window.

I feel like having a guy like Coutinho in here at the start could have helped us control a little bit of the midfield. So far we've been overrun, with zero creativity in attack.

And our defense is a complete joke. Looking forward to seeing TAA & Klavan get ripped apart by our fan base after being revered as heroes last month.

EDIT: that is sarcasm, btw.
