The best story in sports last year. Let's see if they can keep it up or if they pull a Leicester.

It's more indifference. I feel no connection. Can't say I really like any of their players. No connection with the country/lifestyle. I don't hate them, I just don't feel any desire or need to watch. Also doesn't help that I don't get beIn.

Why is Stuart Holden commentating on Bundesliga matches? He never played in Germany.
I think this is my biggest problem with Fox's soccer coverage. They just throw the same guys out there as pundits and commentators for all of their soccer coverage. Wynalda is the only regular pundit who played in in the Bundesliga, and his analysis is normally hot garbage. It's weird that a company that has invested so much money in the rights to these leagues gives zero regards to the actual presentation of these games.
Warren Barton makes Alan Shearer look like Stephen Hawking.

I don't mind this so much. Derek Rae was the GOAT of commentating Champions League games on ESPN from Bristol.

Tommy Smyth from ESPN in Baltimore was the GOAT.

Probably the worst thing about ESPN's soccer coverage. He's kind of like the Chris Berman of soccer. He was hired by ESPN 25 years ago, so, regardless of his generic hokey schtick, ESPN won't fire him. His brief cameos on ESPN's national sports programming are awful.
