Chile scored off a poor Cuadrado clearance.

Again, why does Friedel have an Irish accent?

He played in England for nearly 20 years. That'll rub off on how some people talk.

I have a southern accent after living in the south for 15 years. It is not that hard to pick up on the accent of your surroundings.

It sounds like a weird mesh of several British accents and an American one to me instead of just Irish.

He played at Liverpool, Blackburn, Aston Villa (Birmingham) and Tottenham (North London).

I agree. Didn´t know he´d been in so many places.

I have a Dublin friend whose voice in uncannily similar, but I´d imagine it´s more due to the voice (and not the accent), that I think he sounds like my friend.

Does Chicago buoyantly follow their MLS team? What is the roots country of origin makeup of their fandom percentage wise?

Just curious. There are some Chicagoans on here, no?

Their attendance is pretty poor. They have one of those inconvenient, suburban stadiums

Might as well rename the team Bridgeview Fire. You can't get there and there is nothing to do outside of the stadium.

Edit: They were actually quite popular when they played at Soldier Field.

No ´total experience´ thing? Simply, we´re a big arse city, they´l come sooner or later?

I used to see ´posh´ white kid teams in the Madrid airport from Chicago or better said, the suburbs, on the reg, eons ago...

Pretty much the hubris of the FO has turned off the Chicago market.
