Despite the result last night was awesome. United were the better side especially in the first half but once Cou scored that was the dagger. The tie was won in the first leg for sure.

The atmosphere last night was unreal especially sitting in the Stretford End. Liverpool fans were setting off smoke bombs and flares which was hilarious but then later they showed their arse.

I never want to hear them complain about song regarding their past when all night they were making airplane gestures and singing their Munich song about dead United players on the run way. Will it get the same press like last week of course not, they been doing it for years and nothing ever gets brought up.

At the end of match with about 4mins left a giant riot broke out in the east stand. A couple Liverpool fans got tickets in the home end. Which happens every match even last week with United fans in the Liverpool end. But if you do that and celebrate for the away side you are asking for trouble and that happened. All you could see was a Liverpool flag falling off the upper deck and then those fans getting their arse kicked.

The last ten minutes when we basically knew it was over the Stretford End was singing United calypso until after the final whistle. It was amazing more just singing for the club than the players.

A Liverpool youth player tweeted this after the match and now his account has been deleted. I wonder if the club will do anything.

He said he got hacked. Think I saw somewhere he was in the away end for the match. Think he was just trying to save face. Classless thing to do

It's never your fault

Lots of videos and pics from the ugly scenes at the end of the match showing. Lots Munich chants in them.

The songs won't ever go away. Reprehensible and vile as they are it's never going to be truly stamped out. This is why I didn't make much of a fuss when United sang them last week. We do the same, as everyone saw yesterday. To bitch and throw s fit about it is throwing rocks all over your glass house. But you always knew there would be some type of retaliation.

Still no excuse to take part in it yourself or defend those that are singing it

At least you guys are more reasonable than the Liverpool fans on Reddit

They are literally denying the Munich songs where not sung and down voting everyone saying it happened

I'm not defending those that sing it. The fans on both sides are fricking disgusting scum of the earth for celebrating the deaths of innocent people. However, I'm not going to pretend our fan base is high and mighty when it's convenient to do so. Because as yesterday shows neither side will ever mature enough to try to truly bring an end to it.
