He looked surprised too. That was weird

What'd he say?

To expand, he legitimately started off by saying "it was a brilliant goal" (my wording may be off, but the idea is the same)

Did he say it on the ESPN show or another network?

Hope they'll replay it.

The only time Alexi made me laugh tonight is when he compared Sir Ian in his sunglasses and hat to Hannibal Lecter.

Chile will look better on Wednesday. They play to the level of their comp and they struggle against size. I expect a tie against Spain and a win against Holland. One game does not make a team.

thenry's Man of the Day:

Tim Cahill

Robben van Persie Blind had a brilliant day today against a team that just mentally imploded.

Tim Cahill played like a true center forward for a team that has zero shot of picking up points in this tournament, and almost willed his team to the unlikeliest of points. He capitalized on Chile's lack of height with the one thing Tim Cahill does.

Chile were pretty poor for 50 minutes today, but Vidal is clearly in need of rest. The hullabaloo about Chile's defense is overstated. Their whole tactical strategy is to precipitated on disregarding conventional defensive discipline.

No shite. Chile is gonna look much different against Spain. I expect them and the Netherland to ccome out the group. Netherlands will beat them because Robben and rip will bully their defense around like they don't exist

The people I was watching the two late matches with were calling the spay "felony spray".

I kind of like that.
