One penalty. And yeah it was a bad miss. But the rest of the 119 minutes was filled with some of the most bizarre officiating I've ever witnessed. I literally couldn't tell you what a foul was by the end of it. West Ham were jumping on our back every single 50/50 with nothing. Perplexingly, half the time we'd get the foul called on us when we've stood our ground and the man was on our shoulders. On the other hand if we simply touched their backs the whistle blew. Ibe gets thrown to the ground with both hands, Stewart nearly has his leg broken, I counted 5 cynical fouls to stop our counter attacks, with no stop of play. It was beyond terrible.
That being said when you have a striker who misses two one on ones with the keeper and a wide open header from 6 yards out, you can only blame yourselves. I'd start 11 Andy Carrolls if it meant never having to see benteke in a red shirt again.

Truth. But I meant uneven as far as how the same play is called for both teams. West Ham did the exact same things we did all night and never got a whistle once.
