yea they had a ton of draws tho
thats how City closed the gap.

Always better to win one and lose one than to draw both matches.

City just have a ridiculously good team and have gone on an amazing run to close out the year. They deserve it

Bamfordinho deceives an official = 2 game ban
Lawrence from Derby deceives an official to win a critical PK: no ban

Originally submitted an empty post lol.
Both teams have been great this season and both seasons are worthy of winning the title.
Unfortunately someone has to lose and whomever that is I believe will suffer mentally for some time and will have a a big letdown in 19-20. I already know how City reacts to shite not going their way. I can’t imagine Pool’s reaction moving forward coming short again in regards to trophies.

After city wins the title this year Liverpool finish 6th next year

I agree they'll have a let down next season, but this would require them backsliding past United and Arsenal (which I just don't see happening unless both go spend an absurd amount of money this summer)... If I had to guess it'd be 3rd

Well we lost the Champion's league final and followed it up with a Semi Final appearance and taking the EPL title race to the last day.
Add Dybala, get Ox and Keita in good form, sell Lovren and add some defensive coverage and we'll be back.
Klopp isn't Mourinho, he's not going to mind frick our players and neither will our fans. We didn't last year.

Our problem though is depth, as you can see with Firmino and Salah out we’re pretty screwed. All aboard the Rhian Brewster pain train

I dont think it'll happen next year, but when a Klopp team implodes, they implode pretty hard.
Ex: See Dortmund in 2014-15 where the finished 7th, and Maintz in 2006-07 where they were relegated.

Yeah, them selling Lewa and Gotze had nothing to do with that LOL.
Ya'll are ridiculous.
Ox, Keita and Becker haven't even gotten to play a whole season.
VvD has only been here a year.. Along with Salah, it will be the 3rd year they are all together.
City's core has been together for 5+ years.

I do remember they still were dangerous in Europe though, because I also remember how everyone was setting up much more defensive and conceding possession to avoid the gegenpressing and they just didn’t know how to deal with it
So far, we’ve been really healthy for the most part and our fitness team has done a great job, but we definitely need to be deeper to be able to cope with the injuries that we do occasionally get (especially our front 3)
And we’ve been built a little different to be able to have more possession and build up play. Obviously we’re not City and struggle scoring 5 against a low block at times, but we already see it a ton and have managed to fare ok
Not to say that an implosion can’t happen, but so far, I’d say Klopp looks like he’s learning some lessons to be able to handle all these situations, including trying to lock up all of his main guys in long term deals and minimize any losses in the squad

Add Dybala
I heard you all were in for Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe too.
Realistically though, Liverpool and Klopp are so awesome that I can see Dybala so badly wanting to be apart of that set up that he'd be a rotation player.

De Bruyne- 4 years
Sterling- 4 years
Otamendi-4 years
Sterling-4 years
Silva-9
Fernandinho-7
Aguero-8
Kompany-11
My point stands relative to Liverpool.
We have Henderson with over 5 years who doesn't even start every game.
Everyone else is 4 or less with many of the main guys at 2 or less.
