Would this be worth going to? I've way wanted to watch a European club play in the US. I've noticed that tickets are a bit pricy for this match. Will they go down in price closer to the event? Will players like Ibra and Pogba play?

Prices will not go down.
Even if Ibra (who i doubt will play) or Pogba play it will be for like 15-20 minutes.
If you were going to buy tickets, pre-sale last week was the time.

If you're a United or City fan, sure, or if you live in Houston. If not, I'm sure there are cheaper friendly matches for European clubs in America this summer.

Probably not.

I don't think Ibra will be healthy by then. As for Pogba... maybe? Like, he could get a quick runout for the fans. It's not a World Cup or Euro year.
The only other United friendly in America that I've been to had a decent starting lineup before handing it over to the reserves after halftime. That was under LvG, though. But it's possible.

Its a money grab pure and simple, if you want to spend money and see Pogba and other first team players play the full 90. Spend that money on a flight over there
Any decent seat looks insanely priced. But you can get one up in the heavens for about $90.

They most probably will have a free training entry the day before. Best thing I did last time they were in Denver. Players are friendly and give a wave

I think the ticket package includes some Dynamo games fyi.
After today's events, might be an interesting event to go to, that's for sure.

Need to check my ticket stubs, but I certainly don't recall paying these type prices when United was last here for the 2010 MLS All-star game. Heck, I was sitting in the lower level and brought the wife and 2 youth players.
Would probably bite the bullet were Chelsea , Real, Barca, Bayern-M or Juve in the mix . Will likely pass this time.

I'm a City fan in Houston so I feel like I have to. Even though I really don't wanna spend that much on a meaningless game in the grand scheme of things

Totally understand. If The Blues were playing, I would definitely make that purchase.

being local makes it much easier for you
You can bullshite until last minute hopping prices some what go down. While everyone else has to make travel plans and spend even more money on top of the crazy ticket prices.

ICC has suspended the sale of the match tickets based on the attack. Surely this won't affect the match, right?

I would think not...but who knows

Got a good deal on presale tickets and realizing how good of a deal it was after looking online today.
Prices are crazy, hope the game is fun.
