Did Juanzaj learn how to play a final ball or finish in Dortmund?

I don't know that I've ever seen a player that's so good with his first touch be so bad at playing a final pass, crossing, and finishing.

He didn't play much, so hopefully he found that by training with a team that actually can do those things regularly.

Yeh, I think overall his loan spell was rated as a giant MEH.

He's shown glimpses just needs to put it all together.

Going there didn't make much sense.

Dortmund already had enough players like him.

At home with a cold, so I got to catch up and watch the NBCSports interview of Sir Alex by Rebecca Lowe. Great interview. I love that man.

Looking for a good showing today in the FA Cup.

Would be the perfect match for Depay to find form.

Give a few of the youngsters a go as well.

Sigh..how do we let that match end in a draw... at this rate we will missue Eruope all together for next season... LVG and his tactics is getting worse...

I don't blame LvG for his tactics as much in this one as I do for leaving Fellaini out there. They need to sell him, like, yesterday.

Well, I wasn't bored. So there's that.

And I agree. Please get rid of fellaini. He offers nothing other than cover for injuries. He doesn't even win aerial battles anymore and is a card machine.

I mean, Newcastle hadn't allowed more than one goal in a match since November, and United blew three really good chances at goal in addition to the three ones they actually scored (Rooney's breakaway, Lingard's sitter and whatever that was that Fellaini did).

The attacking was fine, it was the defense that broke down too much. Chris Smalling played a part in all three of Newcastle's goals.

yep, my fear is that LvG basically says, "see, this is why we don't play open attacking football. because we give up too many goals that way and still draw." of course in broken english.

Smalling had an off night. It happens

But we should have won 4-2

Fellaini needs to just frick off. Missing that wide open chance. He should have also been sent off for about 4 yellow cards. Getting sick of his shite. He is lazy as frick out there.

Other than letting Afroman playing 90mins, LvG was spot on tactics wise. Playing a more expansive game. Seeing our attacking players much more free flowing and not seeing them restricted to a position. Bringing Memphis on who might be catching form, then moving wazza to the 10 with that sub.

The 3rd goal we gave up was just shite clearing. Darmian, Memphis, Blind and Smalling.

We need to come out firing just like that sunday vs the scousers.
