next leg is at home(not that it really means anything with our home form) and i'm confident we'll at least get to the final.

Rumor is that Anderson could be heading to Italy. This puts our kitchen staffs jobs at risk essentially cutting their work in half.

Anderson's guide to being a professional athlete:

1. Come back from injury
2. Take 10 games to return to form and establish any kind of match fitness
3. Play one or two excellent games
4. Get hurt
5. Ostensibly do nothing to rehab achieving the base fitness level of a 60 y/o man
6. Repeat

Juan Mata bid?

Add Mata and 1-2 defenders (CB is a must!) and I'll be happy

So if United get Mata, where do you put Rooney when he and RVP get back to health?

AND WHAT ABOUT FREAKING SHINJI KAGAWA

I really think this is going to happen. We'll have an overabundance of number 10s. I'd have preferred the money spent elsewhere but I don't think Moyes is a huge fan of Kagawa and Moyes wants to avoid the lack of creativity in the midfield during injury crises like we are in right now.

We really didn't play that bad against chelsea and like Jose said, we probably didn't deserve to be down like that at half. We had plenty of chances. Our defense, on the other hand....

Have to put them up top...as much as i like Wazza in the AM, if we sign Mata you have to get all three of them on the pitch...mata is just as creative if not more

i'm working on that

we have got to spend $$ on 1-2 defenders AT LEAST...it pains me to say it but Rio and Vidic aren't what they used to be...I love Vidic but he's lost a step or two and Rio's health is just unreliable...PE has his moments but is not far behind them...

I was so happy when United signed Shinji last summer. The way he has been used (or lack of use) has baffled me.

Mata would be great, no doubt, and I think he's better than Shinji...but it's not a position of freaking need.

And if you elect to go with two strikers up top, then what are you going to run in the midfield?

Don't get me wrong, Mata and even someone like Cavani would make United more dangerous, but why are we spending money there?

It's like the Dante rumor. Great defender, extremely good on the ball for his position...but he's 30. How much does he have left in the tank? Are you telling me United can't go out and get an elite center back who is younger?

I agree, Mata doesnt make sense when you have Kagawa and even Rooney who can play in the hole...

The Koke rumors made sense... Cabaye would even make more sense..

It's similar to Rodgers going after Salah for us, when we have glaring needs in defense... frustrating!

the price for Mata being thrown out there is 35 to 40 million pounds. Thats crazy, esp setting a club transfer record on Mata. If Jose hustle us then bravo on him.

Rumors rumors rumors

Apparently representatives have canceled their flight from London to finish negotiating mata and another European based central midfielder (believed to be Arturo Vidal).

See, that would be a good move.

Also, Ivan Rakitic.

I watched Juve - Sampdoria this past weekend and he was impressive...scored the first goal...I just don't see him leaving for some reason...any rumors on defenders?
