Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year deal that will see him remain as Manchester City manager until the summer of 2023. The 49-year-old has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and three League Cups since joining in 2016. Guardiola told City's website: "We have achieved a great deal together, scored goals, won games and trophies, and we are all very proud of that success. "Having that kind of support is the best thing any manager can have." The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager's previous deal was set to expire at the end of this season. Guardiola's current five-year stay is already the longest commitment he has made to a team since becoming a manager in 2008.

I find it extremely hard to dislike him.

Poor Phil Foden.
Dude’s worth 4-5x what he’s getting paid.
If “it” happens, dude will be 30 before he gets a raise.
(He’s on £12,000/wk +/- right now)

I think he will be not at City in a year if y'all don't pay him more than 12k. That's insulting.

Foden will be fine. We'll drop Mahrez (preferably) or Bernardo and Messi will play on the right with KDB. Foden still slots in the same spot.

12-years ago Sheikh Mansour entered our lives lads.
Blessed be the man that’s sunk a few billion into the club and is about to drop another one on Messi despite only attending a single match.

1.) please update thread title.
*ETA: Thanks!
2.) Aguero out for two more months. Typical.
Gonna be a long year, Cityzens.

Gundogan tested positive today for the Wuhan. I guess nobody cares because the game is still on

Yes it was. Stones and Ake looked solid. Much more so Ake.
Walker also looked good.
Of course the usuals looked good as well, KDB, Foden and Dinho.
