back up north you go and more time for his side piece

Championship strugglers Bolton Wanderers have parted company with manager Neil Lennon by mutual consent.

Former Celtic boss Lennon departs with the Trotters bottom of the table, 11 points adrift of safety, and academy boss Jimmy Phillips will take charge on an interim basis.

Bolton have won just four of their 37 Championship matches this season and suffered their 19th defeat of the campaign when they lost 2-1 at home to Preston on Saturday.

And Lennon now leaves having won just 18 times in 80 matches in total, although he has had to deal with significant off-the-field distractions this season.

A Celtic "legend" can't cut it in the Championship? Water is wet.

He deserves a medal for keeping them up last season.

That club will be in non-league play (or dead) within five years.

As much as I hate everything about the person who made this post, it's true.

This sacking makes sense.

He's definitely, without a doubt, the reason for Bolton's demise as a reputable football club. I can't see any other possible reason$ that they are fricking awful.

Bolton currently losing 6-0. Obviously Lennon's fault
