Thread bumping is a conundrum to me.
On one hand, it's a great way to show how dumb or incorrect a person's comments might turn out to be.
On the other hand... it shows you remember something a virtual stranger said on the Internet and you then put forth the effort to find the thread to resurrect it.
Seems like a great example of Rustled Jimmies, IYAM, but I'm also not opposed to calling out people will absurd opinions or statements.
