The point of the media thing is supposedly to attempt to avoid arbitration which he believes he will win

I call BS... he's already crossed that line with supporters, fricking arbitrate if he thinks he's going to win... Don't try to save face now.. LFC wrote the contract, they know how they drew it up..

You probably know more about this than I, but would Liverpool face sanctions from the FA if they offered him to Real for 25 and ignored Arsenal's offer of 40?

No I don't think so. Arsenal would be pissed though.

Ambiguity in a contract is generally construed against the drafter unfortunately. But the arbitration panel has to understand what kind of precedent they set when they let players out of contracts when they claim things like this. I just don't see them opening the floodgates more than they need to.

Yeah I have never heard that either. It's possible. I can imagine this getting all legal soon.

Exactly this is Luis and guardiola's last ploy cuz they can't win. The "promise" they are saying pool gave them is retarded. No legit business man would say that. So they are trying to put pressure on pool in the media and arsenal are helping them do it

And 40 is a starting point in this thing with the way the window has gone. Hell RM got what 34 for a backup? bullshite, arsenal are in on this game. Thats why I say screw em. They think they can force us into giving him up on the cheap

Us giving in and selling to arsenal would be like justin Upton forcing a move to the cardinals next year. With the cards egging it on the whole time. Or jimmy graham trying to force a move to the falcons bullshite

Theo and £10m

Final offer (most arsenal fans would burn me for saying this but I think theo ruins a lot of attacks)
