Thinking back on this game, does anyone else feel like Toure and Skyrtel had more time on the ball than Suarez? I just feel like we were content kicking it around and had absolutely no one that wanted to penetrate and attack and force the issue.
Missing Daniel and Cou (for most of the match) seemed to really take the wind out of our attack. Suarez forced shots that weren't there (and they weren't well hit). Maybe we just don't have anyone else with the talent to create something (either passing, movement, or dribbling wise).

Well, that is fairly evident... other than Stevie, who wasnt really on yesterday... If Aspas is healthy, I wouldnt mind seeing him get a run out
Does Norwich play with 2 strikers? If so, I'd be OK with the 3-4-1-2 again...

Honestly, there was really only a stretch of maybe 15 minutes after we got our goal in the first half where we were stringing passes together and looked at least a little dangerous.
Even when Cou was out there we just looked very disjointed. We certainly haven't benefited from all the injuries, but I would love to see how many different lineups we've used this year. We've had very little continuity from match to match which probably doesn't help

Two things.
A) We played nearly that entire match in our half of the pitch, you are simply not going to win if you are doing that, BR should have seen this earlier and adjust to provide some kind of inspiration to push forward or maintain possession to push forward.
B) We have all bitched or seen someone bitch about how we can't play Agger and Sakho together because they are two left footed LCBs but in this match we did exactly that with some of our other center halves ... Kolo & Skrtel both are right footed RCBs. Why wouldn't have Rodgers played Sakho, coming of a wonderful performance for France, with either one of those other two that played so we would have a balanced back line.
I am so fricking pissed at this past week
that if we don't destroy Norwich I may murder someone. (not really, but I may be that mad though)

It's not all about their foot. its about where they have always played... LF'ers arent as common as Rf'ers, so it is fair to assume that many Rf'ers have had to play on the left side... Where as LF'ers usually always play the left side, because thats where they come up playing...
Not an exact science by any means, but the fact that we havent seen either of them play on the left... ever.. says something.
**Coates has played on the right side for us and he is LF'ed

No I get that, I am just pissed at why he didn't play Sakho with either Kolo or Martin
Preferably Kolo since Martin had been playing a lot lately.

Gotcha... my apologies..
I said the same thing right after the match... Martin is comfortable on the right, I believe he plays there with Carra... However, Sakho has played very good for us IMO and coming off that great match in WCQ... then he rides the pine 2 straight matches...
I thought he was the perfect foil for Lukakau against Everton...

I thought the same. At least in regard to is arial skill. Flanno shut him down on the ground, but Sakho wouldn't have allowed that header.

That's why I don't understand him not getting the PT.

My exact thoughts after their first goal was that Sakho would have stepped up to stop the ball and not allow time for the shot

Apparently, Roy Hodgeson decided to play Sturridge for the full 90 in an England friendly even though he knew he was hurt to test his resolve. frick everything about that man.

So, rumblings from today...
BR ruled out Asapas for tomorrow, claiming he's only just returned to training and he's not fit
Ok, fair enough...
Now a couple of things that make me wanna say hold off on any contract extension just yet...
He says he needs to find a CB pairing... OK... and that Sakho is one for the future
The guy is a French international and the former captain of PSG!!
He wants a new striker so we are looking at Danny Ings... Who you say?? That's right, Danny fricking Burnley Ings... (granted BR didnt say this one, but the usual are reporting it)...

Some Reddit guy "in the know" says Sakho isn't playing because he's shagging Brendan's wife.

Depending how the next year or so goes we will see which was a better choice between him and Martinez.
Just sayin'
