All I know is if I were the ref/linesman I would definitely claim I had called for the foul rather than offsides.

Also good to know fans on Reddit are cracking up over Suarez's celebration. It was a funny celebration and shouldn't be judged any differently than that.

I agree and Rodgers obviously liked it...

Also Phil Neville said the ref "bottled" it. That's how you know it was a bad call

Just shown the replay, linesmen clearly signaled after Suarez started celebrating.

It was, and if it was Balotelli, the board would be fapping all over the place. The reason it's not getting laughed at here is because it was Suarez.

Moyes on Suarez celebration: "I thought it was great ... he was very lucky to stay on the pitch today."

Moyes on Suarez's disallowed last-minute winner: "It was a goal. We were lucky."

There's also a reason that Suarez is pretty much universally hated and Balotelli is generally liked...

Eta: I do see the funny side of it, it would just be a lot funnier if he didn't constantly dive or Moyes had said something incorrect.

Really impressed he admitted to it. The guys on FSC said it was confirmed an offsides call. If true, fricking criminal, but par for the course so I can't be surprised.

Overall, thought we were outplayed. happy with the point, but still for the life of me trying to figure out why we played so far out of our usual style.

Fellaini. He almost single handedly took our midfield out of the picture. He is a tremendous player.

Phil Neville Post Game... Studio Analysis...

The second half of this clip, where they are discussing the offsides call in the studio, really shows a good angle of the linesman... he didnt even raise his flag until after Suarez has peeled away and celebrating...

Yup.

As they said, that's the referee's foul to give, not the linesmen's.

That's certainly what it looked like in that video, looks like he decided Suarez was off after the everton players appealed. Thats a really tough break and takes away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable game. Sorry if I was piling on yall a bit today with the Suarez stuff
