Damn. Was just about to say how fair I thought the match was called. That really sucks.

He had to have called a foul on Coates for jumping on Jagielkas back. Clearly not offside.
Yeah. Both hands on defender's shoulder. That's the only reasonable explanation the guy would have for calling anything there.

The only problem is that the linesman signaled an offside. He wasn't calling the Coates over-the-back.

What a fricking joke. Every fricking big match we have, there is always something completely out of our control that happens.

Well, then he must have collected a lot of coins that got thrown at Suarez and decided that he should give the Everton fans a favorable call.

Linesman waiving their flag doesn't automatically mean he's calling offsides, he'd do the same thing to signal a foul. I'm not saying it definitely was a foul, but you do see those called.

The referee is clearly just outside the area. Never should the linesmen call that foul. Never.

Anybody know what Moyes said to Suarez after the diving celebration?

Still a bit off that he'd be calling a foul across the field when the head ref is a little closer to the action. I know he still has the right to call it, but that's tough to do in that situation.

What the frick was he looking at... that wasnt even a hard call to make if you were in the top row of Goodison...

It's part of their job, the ref can't see everything. I don't have a problem with him making a call there, he would have had a much better view than the ref did there. Of course, if it wasn't a foul he shouldn't have called it, and I think that's certainly up for debate. If the call was offsides, y'all were robbed.

Fellaini is such a huge presence of the pitch. Really wish he wouldn't have played.
