I like the Shelvey sub. Coates in as well. 3 in defense for pool.

Neville has made a couple hundred of epl appearances and that was the first time I've ever heard of him diving.

It's a tad bit worse when you are an outspoken proponent against diving and your manager came out just days before the match saying he would never allow a dive on his team.

Am I the only one that thinks Coates has a scary resemblance to Clifford the big red dog?

Poking fun at Moyes who was the latest in a long line to come out and try to humiliate him in the public eye again.

I happen to have a lot of respect for Moyes and can't see a problem with him saying Suarez has a history of diving. In fact, he could have gone much further re: Suarez and he pretty much left it at that. I love Suarez as a player but have long since lost any respect I had for him. His celebration just comes off as completely disrespectful, especially when he's being correctly called out for cheating.

Some people take the game so seriously. It's sad really, I feel sorry for them sometimes.

Diving is a part of the game now unfortunately. Picking out Suarez, who I will admit dives a fair amount, seems to be rather immature for a club manager to do. Especially considering it is not an isolated activity

I'd expect that if one of his players dives he'd sit them down after the game and explain to them that it's unacceptable and won't be allowed in his team, the same way Martin ONeill used to handle it. If king Kenny would have sat Suarez down last year and explained to him that diving was not acceptable I think he would have a lot less problems.

He also had the nerve to say this... piling on... hypocrite

quote:

During his time at Goodison, Moyes had to deal with persistent diving allegations against former Everton striker Andy Johnson. He rejected the notion there was any similarity between Johnson and Suarez.
“I think it was slightly different in that Andy was so quick and quick footed that he hardly touched the ground,” said Moyes.
“Quite often he got clipped because he got to things really, really quickly. I don’t see a comparison. It got to a stage when Andy wouldn’t go down when he could have legitimately gone down. That is what you have to do. If you can legitimately stay up, that is what you do.”

I'm not going to even talk about diving anymore. It has been beaten to death by the media and fans everywhere. I honestly don't give a shite about it anymore.

What an awkward challenge by Coates, nowhere near the ball there.

Fair enough, I'll leave it alone. I have a feeling the conversion will continue as long as Suarez is a red.

Baines puts in beautiful set pieces. Only a matter of time before they convert, they should have by now.
