You think both will be in the lineup tomorrow? I can see them come in as second half subs, but I don't see them playing 90 minutes.

3-1, Suarez Sterling and Borini.

Jones starts in net and let's in a late goal, but the outcome is never in doubt. Maybe I'm overly optimistic

I've been wanting to post on the board for a while now, but just got to creating an account. I hope I don't get bashed too much on here. Big pool fan and have enjoyed reading most of this thread.
Anyways, do y'all think Sterling starts tonight? Or could he possibly go with a Assaidi, Borini, Downing front 3?

I think Assaidi and Borini start for sure, kinda a toss up between Downing and Sterling on that other wing. If Sterling starts its really bad news for Downing

I think that could be a possibility... maybe suso for downing?

I'm just curious how Udinese's 3-5-2 will play into the team he picks... if at all..

Is Suso more of a midfielder or a hybrid mid/forward?

He is more of an attacking mid, but I know he was experimented out wide in the reserves last year...

That's spilled over to this year and BR has played him on the wing. I believe this is more due to depth in the front line, than anything else... I believe his long term position will be in the middle...

First of all, welcome!

I'm not sure what I think the lineup will be. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Cole made it in at some point. I do think we will see Borini, Assaidi, Henderson, and Shelvey for sure.

Should be a tactical battle. I'm pretty excited to see what Rodgers does.

was gonna skip class this afternoon so I could catch the full match, but we have a quiz and he's giving it at the end of class so I have to stay until almost 3:00. Hopefully I can catch most of the 2nd half.

Rafa excelled at tactics in Europe. That dude was a tactical masterclass.
Looking forward to today's game. I hope Ngoo and Wilson get a look in. I have a feeling Ngoo can make the move up.

So, a little banter while we wait for today's match...

It is being reported by a few sources that Real Madrid are sniffing around Suso (life long Madrista), who is out of contract next summer...

Would you swap Suso for Sahin permanently? I think I would...

**I think its a bunch of BS. He's already turned down RM once and surely he knows he wouldnt sniff the field there for a long time. Where he is in the mix here already. I think we end up locking him down. He'll have an opportunity to play for them down the road...

Just sit at the back of the class with your computer and watch it on ATDHE like I used to in school. Just remember to sit by a power outlet so your battery doesn't run out and don't get too excited or your prof may not like it.

Hypothetically? Yes, unfortunately.

Hope it's all BS like you say.

I mentioned in yesterday's UCL thread, that MCFC should make a move for Rafa... As much as I'd hate to see them there, he would get them straightened out in Europe...

I was really hoping Ngoo got a look in this time around.
