Berhalter should not be on the field at the same time as Tyler Adams unless we are hunkering in defense. He is not good enough in possession or creative enough to take one of the other midfield positions beyond the defensive holding role.

ETA he also put 2 in the net against Australia last October in friendlies so he's definitely shown form for us.
These are not recent enough data points to be relevant but he did help a Championship side get promoted. His club performance is the pitch because we have very small sample size in recent months with the USMNT.
