Just got back driving from Tyler, has Meslier been released yet?

Edit: I think for a large portion of matches this year I have thought, I wouldn’t mind their keeper in our side. Cant really say that for any other position for us

Can’t wait to see all the “back Meslier!” tweets this coming week.

Enough is enough.

I knew Nancy wasn’t long for this world of Leeds, wonder if this is where Beren Cross is heading since he hung it up at Leeds live just before Christmas.

Said he would be back at games soon so it kind of adds up

Yeah you could tell that wasn’t going to work from the start.

I’m interested to hear how the TGTBJY pod guys handle the Meslier situation. They’ve been notoriously soft on the Bielsa era players and quick to judge the newer guys more harshly.

For example last week when forced to admit BA had been doing some good things Popey was like “well the criticism there has always been that we know that level won’t be good enough for the premier league.” Well no shite, there’s like 7 or 8 regular starters that won’t be good enough for the premier league.

All BS aside, is it even a legitimate chance we get somebody else in, or are we stuck with Meslier because of how late we are in the season?

Honestly I think we can only look at the last window with this group in charge, nothing came in during January that I recall

So I think the odds are small any changes are made, unless that French pixie has another absolute howler we are stuck with his erratic arse

Yeah that main host has been a big fan of Meslier, but Simon has been questioning him all season on this topic. I see their episode just dropped will listen to that shortly as I catch up on all these out of office emails

Just finished, and he’s lost all of them as well. Their only question seems to be whether bringing in a new keeper this month is the way to go or not.

The only move I remember last January was Roberts coming in on loan. I think they probably need more cover at LB if Schmidt isn’t going to be an option but the Meslier situation may cause them to reshuffle their priorities.

Oh yeah forgot about Roberts

I suppose I could see them bringing in a loan from a premier league team but that’s hard because they normally want playing time assurances

Just remembered how much that bouncing shite he does before a free kick or corner pisses me off.

We are linked with GK Ledesma of river plate.

quote:

Ledesma's arrival at River Plate generated high expectations, but the competition with Armani has been insurmountable. Despite his good qualities and experience, the former Cadiz goalkeeper has had few opportunities to showcase his worth. This situation has sparked interest from Leeds United, a club with a tradition in English football, currently facing challenges with their starting goalkeeper and seeking immediate solutions for the second half of the season.

quote:

Elland Road sees Ledesma as an ideal piece to strengthen their squad. The Argentine's career, with outstanding performances in Spain, makes him a perfect candidate to provide security in goal. Additionally, his experience in high-pressure situations could be crucial for a team striving to secure promotion. While negotiations are not finalized yet, rumors about a potential offer for the goalkeeper have begun to intensify.

From fichajes which is basically Spanish football’s football insider so probably only like a 4/10 on the sauce scale at best but we’ll see.

Apparently lost in the Meslier stuff Eustace is going to West Brom, who we still have to play again.
