As a casual follower just because of you guys being so dedicated on this board, is there any sort of pressure on Farke to lose his job in the first couple months?
Would seem unfair considering the lack of bringing in new players but was just curious how the fan base felt about him

I like his demeanor as a leader always calm etc, but tactically he leaves something to be desired IMO
Team always struggles with the same low block defense, relied on spectacular individual play (Rutter, Cree) last year

Really like him and how he guided us through the first part of last season but his game model is pretty limited and reliant upon individuals (Buendia and Pukki at Norwich.) Obviously if not for ipswich having a video game season we would have gone up but even then he has struggled managing in the premier league in the past. If things keep going south and more players leave i could see him getting sacked or walking away.
Corberan, who we play Saturday, is my guy. I think he’s the most underrated coach in england.
We’ll always have that 9 match winning streak from last season

17 point gap erased after beating millwall. Felt like not even we could frick it up.
Then we did.

Then we did.

At least we still have Dan James.

I stay away from any Leeds news for a few days and come back to us getting hammered by Boro (honestly don’t really care, screw the cups) and losing Rutter??? Thought we were finished with all this release clause BS.

Really hope they don’t try and plug these holes all with loan guys at the end of the window

I’m going to be disappointed if we don’t hear of credible links or deals in the advanced stages by the end of the weekend.

Supposedly we have been hesitant to consider premier league loans to avoid another Eddie Nketiah situation where they don’t get enough minutes and get recalled but if anyone else leaves we won’t have to worry about guaranteeing minutes because whoever comes in will need to play all of the minutes.

Having seen the state of the second team on Wednesday they will get minutes regardless, one injury away from being the hero of the season

Go on cree
Increase that transfer fee that the owners will never reinvest (im one more key sale away from believing the conspiracy theory that they’re asset-stripping the club and handing it over to red bull).

I get the sneaking suspicion we won’t sign anyone until the week of August 26th
Edit: people saying rumors of Clarke coming back to Leeds, can only imagine Sunderland would want a large amount going to a division rival

Re-signing an academy product for probably a higher fee than we sold him for. Cheers lads, we’re Chelsea.
(Im all for it btw)

Rak-Sakyi to blades who actually appear to be trying to get promoted (like the premier league needs that yo-yo club again)
DO SOMETHING

If we don’t sign at least 2 more players I will go from melt to full super melt. I’m thinking nothing happens so prepared for the full super.

I haven’t been this apathetic and not excited about a game since like that dumb arse Myanmar (it’ll always be Burma to me) tour right before Bielsa was hired.
