hopefully all the goals being wasted by them today

Agreed. 5 goals should cover Burnley for 2 weeks.

Farke should take the piss

Bring on Schmidt at left back put Firpo at striker or 10

Edit: Glad Gruev is back really needed him today with Tanaka giving his best effort to get a second yellow

Solid win. Huge opportunity on Monday at Turf Moor. Beating them @ Home seems fair after what they did to us at ER.

Three points in the bag

Someone needs to have a chat with the PA guy for playing I predict a riot after routine wins

Just looking at the table. We should be 7 points clear of third. Thanks Meslier.

Typically when people say that it’s hyperbole. In this case not so much. How different our season would look right now.

Would feel so much more comfortable going into the meat of our schedule with a little cushion vs. what we have.

Yeah I was thinking that is Leeds are top two on March 2nd the run in should allow them to stay there and go up automatically. But in looking at the schedule for the other three contenders theirs isn’t going to be all that difficult either. They have a couple head to head matchups between them but it’s probably going to be close until the end.

That extra 6 points sure would look good right about now.

If we’re at the top on March 2nd then I feel like we’ll go up as well. Our schedule until then is brutal though - 7 games, 5 of which are against teams currently in the top 8 - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th and we play four of those five away from ER.

We really needed (and deserved) a buffer coming into this part of the schedule.

On the flip side, we have a great opportunity to open something up now if we can take care of business against the teams around us. 6 points clear of Burnley with a win on Monday..

Farke said tPirate doesn’t have a hamstring tendon injury, could be back in team training next week

Also mentioned they are staying awake for central defense, 10, and potential striker given Pats injury CV

Suppose we can consider Farke voicing this as either he thinks something will get done, or he is putting down a marker in public that he wanted strengthening but didn’t get it

Would be nice to get a 10 finally. Or ffs give Willy or Largie a run out. I want to believe in Buendia but so doubtful it happens.

I’ve been following this team for 25 years and I don’t remember us ever making no adds in the January window. We’re usually good for at least one shite signing. I may have an unprecedented 1st place melt for no reason.
