8/3/23 - 6 KO games today.

#24 Queretaro @ #10 Universidad Nacional (Pumas)
On paper Pumas favorite.

#9 Atlas @ #14 New England
Should be a good matchup as it’s at NE.

#23 NYCFC @ #25 NY Red Bulls
Good matchup of rivals.

#43 DC United @ #8 Phil
Phil favorite.

#13 Cruz Azul @ #46 Charlotte
Cruz should be favorite but at Charlotte could keep it closer.

#3 Leon @ #19 Salt Lake
Leon should be favorite but at Salt Lake could keep it closer.

Banner day for MLS? Are these Liga Mx teams starting their best?

No those are not good LigaMX sides. MLS has been beating them pretty convincingly so far

The substantial gap is between MLS teams and the LigaMX big boys

The likelihood is greater

LAFC and Philly have the best chances for MLS

LAFC attack can beat anyone in the tournament. Philly doesn't have enough fire power IMO.

It very well could be 3 MLS teams in the semis with LAFC, winner of Nashville vs Cincy, and Dallas. Philly and the Revs have a great chance to come out of that quadrant as well, but Atlas and Pumas are both solid.

This one is actually neutral site in Dallas. Which will likely favor Cruz Azul crowd wise.

BoA stadium was booked with a Beyoncé concert or something so Charlotte couldn’t host.

Giving all the MLS sides home field is dumb tho

Test some of them south of the border

Put them in resort towns like Cancun or Cabo, that would be a fun trip. Juarez, not so much.
