Not surprising. Reports are he was losing interest.

Small chatter about it in the Swansea thread. Not surprised. They appear to be getting worse. They look like a relegation team and are damn close (2 points) to it. That West Ham game (along with many others this season) was painful to watch.

Also I say frick the FA and Europa and rest everyone for league matches. Avoiding the drop should be priority #1

Summer was fine with bony finally catching stride.

You know they bought an entire first team during the summer, right? And that only three of them have had any meaningful time, and two of those three are just fricking terrible.

Sure there form has been terrible but just tell him to focus on league and give him till the end of the year.

He got tactically figured out by the rest of the EPL. He didn't adapt, but instead threw money at it. It didn't work, so he's gone.

:/

Laudrup was my favorite player that I was too young to watch live. I hope he catches on with a good position if he wants to keep coaching.

Yep and we talked about it this past weekend in the matchday thread.

Swansea attack options this season:
1) pass up field and once within 25 yards of goal lose all creativity and stand around and watch each other. Then either

A) queue up 25 yards out and then ultimately have Shelvey blast one into row ZZ
B) watch an awful cross from Routledge/Dyer/Pozuelo not beat the first man or have it completely clear the box

Rinse and repeat.

I meant that bony starting to score was a saving grace. Alvaro Vasquez is trash. I like pozuelo but he is inconsistent. Canas was free right?

Yes on all fronts. But you forgot about Shelvey. He is complete dogshit.

yeah teams were starting to figure them out but I don't blame him for not changing much and I enjoyed there style of play.

They haven't been the same free flowing passing team for a while now. Lately it's been bomb it up to Bony and hope he can do something. Also when they do try to go back to one touch passing, it usually dies at Shelvey's feet when his first touch takes the ball 10 yards away from him and his normal human's jogging speed sprint can't catch up to it

Haha I take it you are a fan of shelvey. I bet you loved that Liverpool performace

Shelvey is barely good enough for League One. I have never seen a professional with touch that poor in my entire life.

He showed glimpses at LFC, but he just could never put a full 90 minutes together... he made some terrible decisions and was a straight red waiting to happen at all times...
