I couldn't agree more. Part of it may simply be the censure against appreciating good defense in soccer.

With Barcelona it's appreciating "the beautiful game" or "soccer the way it should it be played" to highlight the "positive" attacking nature of their play when it's even more vital to their success the way they press and fight and kick ankles like wild Banshees the second they lose possession.

I appreciate them (and Guardiola) even more for the latter, especially when you see so many top attacking players that simply stand there bitching to the official and throwing their hands in the air every time they lose the ball.
