Makes sense when you consider their perpetual victimhood and lack of personal responsibility.

Y'all are so dramatic.

Its a strategic decision. Like it or not, its simply easier under the current government regulations to field a full team when the players are vaccinated. The torches and pitchforks need to be aimed at Parliament and Downing Street, not Klopp. He's working with the rules that are forced on him.

So are they for or against the vaccines?
Got conflicting responses from you and SCL

They are largely in favor of vaccines, as far as I understand.

Gotcha
So the city of Liverpool is one of the more vaccinated cities in England?

I haven't heard any Spanish or Italian squads saying they won't sign unvaccinated players though.

Note sure, I haven't seen the numbers. The entirety of the northwest is a Labour stronghold, so I would assume so.

But isn’t that exact opposite of what SCL said?

Labour Party, which is about as far left as you can get in British politics. They see the vaccine mandates as a crony capitalist affront to the right of workers to have personal autonomy in their healthcare decisions

It is. SCL could very well know something I do not. Just speaking from what I have seen. Admittedly anecdotally, everything I've read coming out of Liverpool is that they are heavily in favor of the vaccine. I am not here to say SCL is wrong, I very well could be getting my info from the wrong sample of people.

You are correct
But i did see Serie A is 98% double jabbed
Not sure what Spain is

And the EPL is 68% double jabbed

Maybe neither are saying anything because they don’t have an issue yet?

I assume that is the case.

If there is any merit to the idea of only signing vaccinated players, look no further than Liverpool starting a midfield three of a 19 y/o with his first ever premier league start (2nd ever appearance for the club), and two other players who haven't played for than 15 minutes in a game in 2 months. Both of them touched the pitch for the first time last week, since October.

Coincidentally, we dropped points for the first time in the last nine games. I get where Klopp is coming from.

I cant speak for the city, but Ive read the club itself (players, coaches and staff) is 100% vaccinated... I follow a lot of Liverpudlians on social media and I haven't seen any anti-tax sentiment..

Yeah, it does say that they are in line with other major cities, and above Manchester and Birmingham. Who know, SCL could very well be right, as Labour constituents are going to be concentrated in major cities versus boroughs, especially in the northwest.

Low vax rates are normal in poorer cities and areas of many western countries across all demographics

Even if they are for getting vaccinated, lots of people in those areas have more important shite to worry about like where is their next meal coming from.
