You’re playing for the National Team. Put your damn hand over your heart and face the flag - or don’t play for the National Team at all if you think life is so shitty here.

Just seemed a little coincidental given what happened a week ago at the olympics with Gwen berry. Its not beyond the realm of possibility given some of the USWNTs political views, but if I got that take wrong then that’s my bad.

It’s not normal if everyone else is facing another direction. You’re being intentionally obtuse here. There’s nothing perceived about it. It’s intentional and for effect. It’s also their right and I respect their right to do it, but everyone is also free to voice their opinion on it.
If you have a different opinion on it that’s fine, but stop pretending like this wasn’t something done with intent.

These women have no pride in their country and i have no pride in them.
They dont think the flag, anthem, or country represents them? Well i dont think they represent us.
I will be rooting against these women. Not the USA. This team. I dont recognize them as a US team.

They arent an American team. Im rooting for AMERICA which pits me directly against the regionally based womans all star team that will be sent to Tokyo in place of a National Team. .
