I agree. Either it starts or doesn't play. The Dutch lost a starter in the first 10 minutes against Mexico and that wasn't the end of the world for them.

Before I get attacked I'm just making a comparison I know they are different situations

If Jozy is actually fit to play and this isn't just a smoke screen then he needs to start. It's a knockout round game so we might as well throw all we have at Belgium.

I think USA is better with Jozy on the pitch. If he's healthy I agree he should start.

The only problem with bringing him on late is if he does tweak it again, it'll cost you another sub. Still that's a possible use for him.

As to starting him and having to use a sub early. You bring him in late. I'm not soccer expert, but that's how most analysts see him being used tomorrow

There is no argument to that.

The question is if he is healthy enough to make a usual impact. It can be argued that Jozy at 70-80% would be an improvement over Dempsey as a lone striker.

So say you start another F and bring on Jozy late and he goes 5 minutes before re-injuring... Do you put on your 3rd forward?

I'd rather Wondo late with Jozy trying to help with possession earlier in the game.

Obviously it will be a risk no matter what seeing that while he may be able to go, I'm sure he won't be 100%.

Great news. This will complicate the lineup, though.

He can't play the full 90 minutes, but he can't really come on late because he's a risk to reinjure it and leave us a man down.

Do you guys think we go back to the 4-4-2 diamond formation w/ Dempsey and Altidore up top? Or do we continue with the lone-striker and move Dempsey into more of a midfield role?

If you bring him in the 2nd half, and he tweaks it in 5 minutes then you are out two subs.

If the game goes to ET, that's a huge blow.

I'd start him and sub him off at half time if he's not feeling 100%

I like them both. Nike rarely misses on these types of things.
