In all seriousness neither Terry nor Suarez should be punished for what was said on the pitch. Grown men are playing a game. Someone said something inappropriate...so what. If JT or Suarez would have burned a cross in either Ferinand or Evra's yard then we might have something. People getting their feelings hurt playing soccer I have no sympathy for. Bringing this to trial was a joke as well as the Suarez situation.
I feel bad for Luis Suarez. If the people in the Anfield camp would have handled the situation similarly to JT's he would have been found not guilty as well.
I imagine a white guy in the NBA has had some pretty inflammatory things said to him but that wouldn't make news. I realize double standards are a fact of life. When the competition get heated and a player's emotions are running high, things are likely to be said out of anger. The player may not truly feel deep down he believes all the things he said. Sports are just as mental as physical. Who wouldn't say whatever they could to gain an advantage and get in the opponents head?
Is Patrice Evra a count? Yes. Is he black? Yes. Is Patrice Evra a black count? Yes. That is not an inherently racist statement but rather an observable fact.

I was just curious how Patrice made his way into this. Although the statement is plausible, shouldn't we be talking about Rio or Anton? It should apply there as well.

Yea but you dont go out your way to say black count, just call him a count and be done with it. If i get called a black anything its going to be problems

If he would have been tried in a court of law, he would have been found not guilty... The FA said "they believed Evra's story is probably what happened" probably...
But I agree that the fact that this even went in to a court room is silly to me...
