watch it
Great bit by US soccer on Joe Benny Corona. Pretty interesting. Not sure he makes the final 23, but he's definitely a player to watch for the future.

Real talk:
Hypothetically speaking, if one were to be in San Diego soon, and negotiating a jersey purchase with the Xolos team shop - would you get Corona or Gomez?
ETA: And I'm not getting an Edgar Castillo jersey

Corona... or Garza. Seems Castillo is leaving because Garza is better and they're making him their LB for the future. Good time to buy!

Does Corona get regular minutes for Tijuana? Seems like he lost his spot in 2013...

He did. His inclusion in the 23 was surprising for that reason, given how Jurgen has reacted towards every other player not getting minutes.

He's super inconsistent about that and he has been for a very long time.

It's this jersey, BTW.
I'm leaning to Gomez.

Gomez didn't play a lot this year. And I think the red jersey looks better but it's your jersey so whatever floats your boat.

He (Corona) worked his way back into the starting XI this year, from what I've read.
Also, gotta go with an Arriola jersey, based on both name and talent level.

You swayed me on getting Earnie Stewart on the 2002 jersey.
I'm feeling pretty strongly about Gomez right now.

Holy frick really? Did not expect that. I feel so honored. But I went back and watched a documentary (Our Way or something like that) on the 2002 run and Earnie is just pure awesome.

Earnie was a legend. My other candidates were just good players. (Though, you could make an argument that Pope is a legend.)
