Did you read the article with the Inter scout saying how he was supposed to play for Inter and then the day he was going to sign for the academy decided on Milan. Apparently Inter had him locked up for three years.

Lol I didn't read it, but I saw it being talked about on r/soccer.

The kid clearly holds no loyalty to his word or any club.

hard to believe a kid that young has so many appearances at such a critical position, especially given the club he's on

68 appearances and he wont be 19 till february

He began his career with Milan in 2015, becoming the second youngest goalkeeper ever to debut in Serie A, aged 16 years and 242 days; he immediately broke into the starting line-up, earning a reputation as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the world. He also broke the record as the youngest Italy under-21 player ever to play, aged 17 years and 28 days in March 2016. Six months later, he made his senior international debut, becoming the youngest goalkeeper ever to appear for Italy, aged 17 years and 189 days.

Milan made the Europa League qualifying stage.

Anyway, he probably won't even make an appearance for Milan this season. They are in talks to sign Mattia Perin and will bench or sell him for a reduced rate.

Donnaruuma, who is basically the next Buffon, said he won't re-sign with Milan when his contract expires in 2018. A melt ensued and some Milan officials now say if he would have just told them, they would have signed him to an extension and sold him for 100 million. Instead, he and his attention whore agent went public and boned Milan. He wants to play for Real Madrid.

The least he could do is sign a deal to make sure Milan gets good value for him

Yup. The fact that he wouldn't sign and add like a £50 mil release clause is just a straight frick you to the club who got you where you are. I'm not saying he wouldn't have been good, but he sure as hell wouldn't be where he is now if it weren't for Milan having faith in him in their GK'ing situation a couple of years ago.
