They are trying to make European fans look bad in general? It seems they are just showing the clashes at every chance.

Isn't this a normal occurrence that fans fight at Euro? The French being really aggressive, due to Paris and Brussels attacks?

It just seems they're making all the countries have horrible criminal elements.

It has been pretty bad, especially if you include what happened inside the stadium with the Russian fans.

Okay so it was the Russians that fired a flare into the crowd across the stadium?

To me that's a criminal offense and they need to charge the offender.

I say get rid of the teams and then possibly have FIFA sanction them.

But FIFA won't sanction host team of worlds biggest tournament.

What's wrong with ESPN exposing russian's as the uncivilized, neanderthal, savages they are?

It's not just Russia they're hammering though. I understand going after a single group but last 5 days it seems they have led coverage off about fights then talk about the game. Then talk fights then game.

It's almost if they want to draw attention to the issue needlessly.

Different question/subject:

What happens if WADA gets what it wants and bans all Russians from international competition. Will they make Russia lose World Cup?

Yes. But Im annoyed it's extending to the Orlando shooting every time. It's not Euro or even sports related .

They do care what WADA thinks though.

WADA is as corrupt as FIFA though.

I meant to ask, are most just there for the weekend in Marseille then? Or will they go up to Lille aswell?

Lille has the potential to be mental, All 4 teams from the group will be there, a lot more English fans too as it's easier to get to for those who are banned and the locals aswell

Thugging out is pretty much all Russia has going for it. A once prideful world power has been beaten down by modernity, and the World Cup is likely to be their swan song for international relevance. I don't want to see them lose it over some fisticuffs.

Lille will be madness if the EFC Lille Europa league tie from a season ago is any indication

I'm not as well-versed as most of you people, but I don't remember UEFA threatening to disqualify national teams at previous competitions.
