Heart breaking if true.

Yes. And, as I told you in May, Lloris is as well.

Back up. No Modric and no VDV, means 6th at best. But, Clint... frick.

Spurs sold Modric and VDV...got Dembele, Adebayor, Deuce and Lloris. (What happened to the Moutinho deal?)
I'd take that if I were a Spurs fan.
I'd take that if I were a Spurs fan.

Lloris and Clint means they won't suck balls. The Spud supporters would have been in full melt down if Lloris was't signed. They bean sweating in out.

I hate having to hate Clint. Damn you Pool.

Could have been a disaster considering the Modric deal was done so late.

Pool doesn't have the money, supposedly. I don't believe it. But when you buy Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing for 55m pounds I guess it makes sense.

Wish we had more details about what really happened...

It was probably that they wouldn't let him practice his half naked Kung Fu skills with Sandro for fear of a gay Brazilian relationship occurring and the other Totts getting jealous, causing havoc in the locker room.
Also, say whattttttt?

Is this deal really going to blow up?

Aulas, who is himself known for being a notoriously tough negotiator, revealed that the keeper has agreed personal terms but is still not convinced on a switch to north London, adding that the ongoing talks have been the hardest in his 25-year career.
"It's been very, very difficult," he continued "I've got 25 years of experience as a president of a club and it's our 16th participation in a European competition in a row. But this is very rare in the football world.
"The negotiation with the Tottenham directors has been the hardest I have ever had to undergo in these 25 years.
"We had email exchanges which have been contradicted, so that's made it very complicated. It's difficult. The Tottenham board's theory is to explain that the economic market is very hard and so we have to get used to renegotiating.
"But for us, who are attached to a player of the quality of Hugo Lloris, and such is the value of the transfer, that causes us to ask questions.
"He has agreed personal terms with Tottenham, he remains under that impression, but since we have had Hugo Lloris on the telephone for a long time overnight and this morning and he's completely undecided about what happens next.
Holy shite, the French want more wine Im afraid... If they drop the ball on this deal and AVB performs as bad this season as his last with the Blues then I think people in that front office will get burned at the stake and die.

I don't understand why people don't believe it.
FSG have spent over £00m on mostly mediocre players since taking over Liverpool. This whole offseason has been dedicated to freeing up the wage books and selling off players just to give Rodgers some funds to work with this summer. The rumor going into the summer was that he had £30m to spend. Come to find out it was actually £20m net (including wages) he had to spend. Ending up spending £39m (5th most in the league)! They took a big stand on financial responsibility today, whether the fans like it or not.
LFC fans on Twitter have had an absolute meltdown. I personally am neither surprised nor upset with what happened today. In fact, I think we had a pretty good summer.
