If a team was ever prime for buying and injecting cash into, u would think Newcastle would be it. For some reason no one has bit????
They continue to be top3-4 in attendance year in, year out in EPL, with shite product on the field. 50K per game, just amazing how loyal they are.

I mean he's spent a shite load this year. The fanbase was also on board with McLaren for the most part when hired. I think there was good intentions, just poor execution. Just seem to be making the mistake of overpaying for average English players and gambles on potential in mitrovic and mbemba who weren't ready for the bpl. Wijnaldum was the only one who you can truly say has adapted well.

Despite what he says publicly, Ashley won't sell. People have tried and been told they have to buy a suite for 3 years to prove they are serious before he will talk with them about buying the club. Of course people hear that and tell him to frick off
It's just a vehicle for promoting sports direct for him, yeah he's put in money this year but a) he's neglected the club so long he probably needs to put in at least another 80 million just to get the club to where it should have been all along b) his people have no coherent transfer policy to begin with and c) only buy attackers and attacking midfielders. We haven't bought a CDM since 2012 and we still have Coco and Steve Taylor on our squad for christ sakes, they were the CB duo the last time we went down! And they still play regularly bc there's nobody else!
Oh yeah and despite all the attacking players they bought, we still can't score goals
