I know nowadays Alex Morgan and Hope Solo get most of the love for the USWNT, but I always had a thing for Mitts ever since she joined the team in 99. hate to see her go, but she had a hell of a run -
Heather Mitts, one of just three women’s soccer players to win three Olympic gold medals, has announced her retirement from club and country. Mitts had been allocated by U.S. Soccer to the Boston Breakers as part of the development of the new National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The 34-year-old Mitts retires after having played 137 times for the U.S. Women’s National Team, good for 18th on the USA’s all-time caps list and sixth-best for a defender. She debuted for the USA back in February of 1999, wearing the U.S. jersey for the first time against Finland in Orlando, Fla
Mitts was a member of the USA’s 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medal teams as well as the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup team. She played in nine career Olympic matches including a memorable performance in the 2008 gold medal game victory against Brazil. She scored two goals in her career, both game-winners.

She is beautiful. She looks like she is in her early twenties.

Did you go to Rhodes by any chance? "Lynxcat" is their mascot and the big red R from Rutgers looks like the closest thing you would find to Rhodes.

Glass, I take it you know him? I'm curious if we went there at the same time. Probably not. I transferred after a year and a half.
