I have just realized why soccer is so low scoring. It isn't just because it is hard to get a clear shot, it is because very few top flight players after being able to control ball while running around in circles can actually shoot it anywhere near a wide open goal.

Worst part is that there should have been no way to have that match end scoreless as the Iranian goalkeeper was jumping at air on every cross.
