but it never ends up playing out that way
we only "play up" when we DON'T play this way, and we typically get behind (even against teams like slovakia) when we rely on bob ball

Well nobody would argue that. I just think Bob needs to bring either Donovan or Deuce into the center and let one of them try to create. The problem is everybody in the center is supposed to just get the ball up field or out wide and play defense and it results in a lot of long balls and no possession.

Ive had to watch this type of play all year with Liverpool. And while it isnt fun to watch, it usually gets results.
