Stupid question here but where would the best MLS team (or teams) compare to the European teams? I imagine they would get smashed by the traditional powerhouses of Europe but where do people think they would finish in say the Dutch league or a league that isn't as elite as England, Spain, etc.

that's an interesting question... could the best MLS team even qualify for Europa League? maybe even get a UEFA Champions League nod and make a Malaga type run

I would say MLS teams would definitely be in the relegation zone of the top leagues. However, I am not as well-versed on the other European leagues. I would think most would struggle to stay in the top half but a really good MLS team could maybe make some noise.
