I thought I saw a thread, but just did a search and didn't find one.

Reports out of London indicate that Chairman Mo is looking to see the club. That is Mohammed al-Fayed, chairman of Fulham Football Club is looking to sell. This came out a couple nights ago.

First article in the Daily Mail

Subsequent reports appeared in the Guardian, The Mirror, and Telegraph (I believe, it could have been The Standard) and reports are all coming to a consensus that the prospective buyer is Shahid Khan owner of the Jacksonville Jags.

Jacksonville to go from playing a game at the monstrous Wembley once a year to playing a game at the cozy Craven Cottage once a year?

Would be quite the jump, although I know that is not likely to happen anyways, it would be pretty funny to me.

I tend to agree, he has made a shitty Jaguars team show signs of life, so Im optimistic about this move for Fulham.

Shad Kahn was very close to buying the Rams before Kroenke exercised a clause to match as minority stake owner.

Everything I have read about him during that is that he is a passionate sports fan. Many in St Louis were sad when his bid for the Rams did not come to fruition.

Seems like a great thing for Fulham after pretty dicey campaign. Gotta think they were to close to relegation for comfort. I suspect brighter days in their future.

He's not going to write Jol a blank check. The club is debt free and in phenomenal financial shape. I think he'll be a tad aggressive with wanting to put a winner on the pitch, but he's not going to go nuts.

Shahid Khan is one of the best owners in sports. I think Fulham is lucky to have him. The club is in a great position. Debt-free and been mid-table for many years. Al-Fayed did a great job with Fulham.

We'd be playing the likes of Rochdale and Rushden & Diamonds if not for MAF. Club need to do something big to honor him and soon.

Listening back to Shad's comments, I like that he played it very close to the vest. The urge would be to come in and promise great things and cash and all the other cliché mess, but he seems determined to build up the Riverside, maintain solid financials, and still put a competitive product on the pitch.

I think he knows the team can't compete for a top 4 spot but they are capable of maybe getting back to the Europa League and maybe winning some cups.

Eh, I wouldn't ever rule out not being able to compete for 4th. You just never know with that one.

I agree though, that Cup runs are a distinct possibility. Need to bring in some solid bodies though. QPR saying they want to loan Adel Taarabt. Might be worth it to take that Loftus Road scum on the fairly cheap.
