No Martial
No Lacazette
No Payet
No Rabiot

WOW.

I think this all but justifies Martial leaving United. Sad day.

Martial definitely not staying at United now. Poor guy.

So happy for Mendy. Hopefully he stays fit and has a good showing.

He doesn't take his chances, he gets a run of games and plays like shite then doesn't see the pitch. Then gets a run of games plays good and then his attitude goes to shite when he starts playing like shite, thus getting benched.

Rashford is out there thriving with increased competition and Martial isn't.

No Payet

Wonder how much this is down to yesterday injury.

No Rabiot

they are so deep at midfield

I just hate the fact that he's played out wide ALL the time...He was a monster for United in front of goal a couple seasons ago

Martial is an odd snub. Maybe they feel like Thauvin is lightning off the bench since Martial wouldn't start anyway? I like both Lemar and Tolisso. And am I the only one that feels like Matuidi is 50? Feels like his 5th cup or something.

I'm not surprised on the other names left home honestly. I like Rabiot a lot, however.

He is more of a wide player than a traditional #9

His movement off the ball when playing in the 9 is pretty underwhelming

His problem when playing is wide is he is to damn predictable and always cuts inside on his right foot. Just use you fricking pace and burn them down the line instead of cutting inside and slowing play down.

Most United fans want him to stay but he still has some serious development on the pitch and growing up off the pitch to do. He's got another kid on the way this time with his newest gold digger.

I disagree. He had a rough patch in the middle but started strong and ended strong. We didn't have the right system to exploit his abilities to run beyond the ball. His off the ball movement was really good. Our midfield just never released the ball at the right time.

I think this team wins it all this summer.

This United player wants him to stay...I hate it if we gave up on the next Henry prematurely. And he's only 21-22, of course he needs time to grow up

I was thinking so too, but no Payet, Rabiot and Martial make me a little timid.

They either lift the cup or flame out in the group stages.

Not saying he is, but he could be. I followed Henry by when he was with Monaco and his short time at Juventus, even World Cup 98...I see lots of similarities although Henry seemed to have a better attitude and worked harder

He's not doing himself any favors, esp off the pitch.
