As for fox soccer I don't think it will go away it will just become something else. Fox is talking about starting a national sports network and this might take the place of it. Heard the same about speed channel though after they lost their F1 deal, which went to NBC. It appears that NBC is making a hard push to be a major sports player.

Man, I don't see how Fox Soccer Channel could survive without any games. That's a shame

I suppose they could try to buy all of the smaller leagues that BeIn and NBC Sports don't have, but that doesn't seem very profitable.

I think I feel most sorry for Rob Stone. Great TV guy finally got his big break and now FSC is on the ropes.

He might be a decent tv guy, he's certainly not a soccer guy though. Stone constantly mis-pronounces players names and adds absolutely nothing other than asking scripted questions to the analysts as he clearly doesn't have much understanding of the sport. I hated Christian Miles, but Stone was hardly the upgraded I'd been hoping for.

Speed channel has carried it for a while. Some races have also aired on Fox. NBC got the rights for next year and also a race will return to America at the new track in Austin next month.

Not sure if serious.

Stoney was working sidelines in horrific kick and chase MLS and US games since the mid 90s.

Jack Edwards, Seamus Malin and Rob Stone FTW.

Looks like no one has discussed the Newscorp angle yet. Sky and Fox are owned by the same parent company and it's hard for me to see nbcu having the same resources from a soccer perspective.

Earlier this season, Stoney was sporting a "I just went on midweek bender, but who cares because this is the Fox Sacker Channel" 5 o'clock shadow on the weekend EPL set.

It was sumptuous.
