I actually do not think 12 would work (before this idea gets tossed around) because the EPL has 20 teams. That means that all 20 keepers will be owned in a ten team league, since we have a starting and backup GK.

· Goal: 2 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
· Clean Sheet: 3 Points
· Goals Against: -1 Point Each
Let's reconsider how we score defenders. -1 point each goal and the same offensive scoring as midfielders and defenders means that in most games defenders will probably lose you points. Smart owners will draft one or two solid defenders from Man City, Chelsea, or Man U and then submit an incomplete backline (oops, I forgot to complete the rest of my roster!), because let's be honest, most other teams are going to give up a goal or two every game.
Am I making sense here?
