Same, all I played for the past several years I owned the game was career mode after I stopped subbing to PS+ and quit playing online matches. Didnt buy 20 or 21 cuz the career mode became generic.
Always have a want to buy right around release dates though. If I can manage a good US squad in career mode I might go in this year if the gameplays improved that much.
Hows the US roster rate on the game?

I think its pretty fair. They have an expected goals count now in match facts and if you lead in that you are most likely going to win. Im typically a division 1-3 player depending on the year and Ive walked through to d7 with only one loss and felt like Ive outplayed everyone so far. So Id say its fair in that whoever is better is going to win.

Do they have all that shite on the screen showing where you are going to pass it and what not like on 21. That was awful.

So far I've only played online and I'm a fan. AI defenders are no longer completely useless and actually position themselves for interceptions well. Crossing is actually useful as well again, although it does feel a bit predetermined as to when your gonna lose the battle. I'm still getting used to passing and seem to be sending a lot in the wrong direction. Also I'm still the worst skill mover of all time so until I figure something out I'll be mediocre at best

Does anyone play settings on full manual? It’s really the only way to get a realistic game PvP.

Full manual is the way to go. Used to do it on the older FIFA's. Stiff learning curve but very rewarding once you figure it out.

Shooting is still hard on manual. If you’re interested there are some VERY skilled manual players from around the globe that all gather in one Dischord chat room.

Just got an email from the board of directors for the club I created that my performance is under review because in season 1 I have not met the goal set to increase my club worth by 30% within 3 seasons.
They are ignoring the fact that I have completed their goals for youth development, brand exposure and am currently in 1st place in the league. We also won the Carabao Cup as a team in League One.

Yeah I've been down this road before. Just thought it was comical that they were raking me over the coals for not hitting a 3 year goal in year 1.

I’m surprised they haven’t deleted Aleksei Miranchuk from Atalanta. Or “Bergamo Calcio” since they’re too shitty to even get real rights.
