Update pushed through today for consoles -

Addressed the following issues for MM:

- Players signed to pre-contracts, in the first season, not coming to your team if the first summer transfer window was disabled during setup

- Some player attributes were missing from the squad HUB

well that does me no good now, unless they magically show up on my team 2 weeks into the season

Also downloaded the trial version of PES for Xbox, the graphics are trash.

So I can pretty much jump to any team except for the huge ones after my first full Premier League season at Fulham. I'm leaning Leipzig, but Marseille looks fun (they finished 3rd in Ligue 1 but were like 25 points behind 2nd). I'd create a second save, of course, so I can jump back into Fulham at any point.

I've also thought about starting a career in one of the smaller European leagues (Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Scotland, etc.) and trying to build from there. I've done the Netherlands and Portugal before.

You talking MM or player career? I've never done a MM where I jump around. I get to attached to my YA players

I did start a player career mode with FC Dallas. Only played a few games in it though. I remember a few years back I played through a whole 15-year player career and it was fun.

FC Zurich is back in the game this year. That could be interesting.

Manager mode. I usually start with some team to build up, and I like jumping into a team after the CPU has run them for a few seasons.

Picked this up on Black Friday. FIFA 17 was my first FIFA game in a long time and I really enjoyed it. Playing a lot of FUT so far, and it seems I really suck compared to last years game. Any reasoning why such a big difference? I mean I was .500 at worst last release, this release I'm probably around a .200 win %. Some of it I can attribute to them sticking me against jacka**es who have 90+ strikers and every other position while I'm running around with high 70's, low-mid 80's players. But a lot of it is on me, I know. Seems my shooting and on-ball dribbling skills are horrible from last release. Any tips??

I'm thinking I may need to step away from FUT for a little while and start up a career with somebody to get my feet wet a little.

So I switched and started a CM with Empoli.

Even though this club was just relegated to Serie B, I'm not sure we go back up immediately.

5 of my XI are on loan, my starting left back is 35, and my gem player (Krunic: 23 yrs, 71 overall) only has 12 months left on his deal.

But the board has placed critical priority on promotion.

Gonna come out of lurking to ask if anyone else feels finds playing vs the AI a little too easy (I dominate even on legendary and am about to try regularly moving up to ultimate for squad battles and career mode) but vs other humans too difficult this year? I primarily play squad battles on FUT and don't do much WL or online seasons since even with a wired connection I hit huge lag spikes from either my opponent or EA's servers, but even all that considered I feel like I still lose too many games to human opponents using a sweaty 4-3-2-1 Xmas tree formation every time.

Build up your team through squad battles/single player season for a bit and don't try building a PL team until you have a decent amount of money since most of even their lower tier golds are overpriced vs other big leagues.

I feel like the game in general is just easy this year. But the only online games I'm playing are co-op seasons. I play primarily with one friend and we are about 30-5-5 in Division 1. I have no idea if ultimate team is harder.

Tried to play on Legendary like the last few years, and got destroyed by the AI the first few games, so dropped it down to World Class (or vice versa if I have them backwards), and now I'm averaging over 3 goals a game with Aston Villa in my MM. Going to bump it up soon.

Play preseason match. Guy kills it, earns MOTM. Come back to emails and his release clause has been met.

Division 3 on FUT is so fricking lame. Everyone just rapidly taps the pass button until it’s up front to the striker 1v1 with a CB. There’s no possession, just whip it up front and 2-4 times per game you’re going to slolem dribble past the CB when the opponent switches to him.

I probably win my squad battles on legendary like 95 percent of the time, but every once in awhile I'll just get destroyed like 5-1 or 4-0.

Survived the usual your in first place and the game forces you into a bad run of form so the pack can catch you in first place

10 points clear with 5 matches lesft my first year in the top flight

Lautern is back baby

Same, only times I lose on legendary are rare random games or if I haven't played in 3-4 days. Really starting to lose steam on wanting to play this game mainly due gameplay vs other humans and how awful online is even if your own connection is good, so I'll prob never get up to ultimate. Also starting to hit a ceiling on my Serie A squad but don't wanna switch away from it as my main since I've lost a shite ton of value in Dybala and Nainngolan from when I bought them. Additionally no other league has near the depth/value in CM as Serie A and I heavily favor playing a 4-4-2 diamond or 4-2-3-1 (although it shows as something different in FUT formations which still pisses me off).

Decided to start my second career mode in 18 off with making Hamburg great again but it's proving to be way too easy after I googled the best young players to buy lol. I'm already top of the table at the winter break with my only losses to Dortmund and Leipzig. Tried doing Leeds at first but got frustrated with the players' stats after using good players so much on FUT, might try to do a 2nd or 3rd tier team again once I get completely sick of FUT.

This sums up every time I try to play WL. Each opponent is some a-hole with 4-3-2-1 and all of his forwards hunter chem'd out that he passes directly toward and then goes 1on1 bc the 1on1 defending in 18 vs a human opponent is impossible even regardless of having CBs like Chiellini, Manolas, Bonucci, Koulibaly, etc.
